Development Manager - Scott Lindsay
B.A. Computer Science & Economic History (UNSW)
Graduate Diploma Applied Finance & Investment (SIA)
PRINCE2 and MSP Practitioner Accreditiation


Scott has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. With roles ranging from analysis and development through to management and operational support he has experience in all aspects of the technology solutions life cycle. Throughout that time Scott has used his analytical and problem solving skills to develop solutions to many complex problems.

The use of automation through Microsoft Office® technologies like Excel, Word, Outlook and Access has been a key part in solving those problems. He is able to quickly assess client requirements and then determine the best course of action and which specific technologies are best used to deliver the solution.

Scott has worked for some of Australia's top 100 companies including ING Bank, Australian Stock Exchange, Insurance Australia Group and Queensland Transport.



Excel Consultant - Craig Stones
Craig has over 10 years experience in the financial services industry specializing in data analysis, application development and operational support. Having worked in a number of roles including operations analysis, stand alone project management and quality assurance, Craig has extensive experience in developing client specific end user applications using Microsoft Excel®, and also providing troubleshooting and support services.




Excel Consultant - Andrew Thrift
 Andrew commenced his career as a Trainee Electrical Engineer at BHP where he spent more than 18 years workingon a diverse range of Computer Systems and Communication Infrastructures. During his time at BHP, Andrew carried out the installation of numerous software packages, which led to the development of his logical and analytical skills in the programming area.

Prior to moving to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland in 2005 Andrew was Director of a Computer training organisation and was involved in instructing students from small to large businesses, in all levels of desktop applications. A need for specialised Excel spreadsheets and databases was identified, and Andrew began consulting in these areas.

For the last 5 years Andrew has continued developing high level analytical automated spreadsheets and calculators in Excel.



Administration and Marketing - Lisa Lindsay

Dip Marketing (TAFE)

Lisa has over 15 years experience in Sales and Customer support roles. She has worked in a number of industries including Information Technology, Travel and Marketing.

Lisa will provide all XLAutomation customers with the highest levels of response and support. She will coordinate your request and query from initial contact until project completion. We aim to respond to all our customers queries and requests within 24 hours.
