Bond Calculator
This tool has been designed for a wide range of Bond
calculations
for those in the finance industry that struggle with tracking
and
reporting of their Bond portfolio. The current version is setup to
track a portfolio of bonds over a 10 year period.

How Does
it Work ?
The Bond information for the
portfolio is entered into the "Bond Data" worksheet. Standard bond
information is required for this entry including End Date, Start Date,
Starting Principal.
Interest
rates for this calculator are the same for all Bonds on a yearly basis
(if a you have a requirement to specify interest rates for each of the
bonds or a group of bonds then this can be included to an enhanced
version of the workbook). The annual interest rate is entered into the
workbook.
Note :The financial year
for the current workbook is based on the US financial year ending in
August.
With
all the data entry completed the calculation of the bonds annual
returns and remaining principal is driven from a single
field the
Financial Year specified at the top of the calculation worksheet.
