This Case study focuses on a project we did for an online market survey company that provides online survey services. Their main problem was once the data was collected from the surveys it was taking too long to convert the survey responses into meaningful and useful charts to take to their clients.
The solution was simple. Excel Automation. We worked with the client to create an application that automated this time consuming task of Excel chart creation.
We achieved this by developing custom macros that took their standard source data and created each chart automatically ready to take to the client.
The client now simply specifies the charts they need and how they want them displayed and the macro we developed does the rest.
The result was a substantial time saving, reducing a 3-4 hour job to just 60 seconds.
The client were also able to take on more clients due to the time saving application we developed for them.
